Professional Development Pathway

Five Oceans encourages graduates and competent managers to continue their personal development and to support the development of others, by becoming members of professional associations related to the construction industry.  Professional memberships are a means of keeping up to date with the latest developments in industry practice.  

Membership of professional organisations can be attained by professional assessment, or meeting the academic requirements of the association.

Those on the Professional Development Pathway might attain membership of a wide number of internationally recognised bodies, a small sample of which are:

Chartered Institute of Building

Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors

Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply

Chartered Management Institute

Members of professional bodies are required to attend training courses and events that constitute Continuing Personal Development and to maintain a log of their personal development.
